About Secure Haven Care

Secure Haven Care is a family-owned, person-centered agency. We encourage the individuals and families to help form their team of caregivers so that they are happy and comfortable with the employees providing daily care to meet their needs. Each individual has their team of caregivers, and they are not shared with other sites. This means that the same caregivers show up each week which creates stability for the family and the person served. As one of the owners of the company, I have been working with DD individuals for 25 years. My two oldest children receive services through Franklin County. I have sat on county boards, worked with Governor Kasich on a few of his DD task forces, and I am currently a member of the DD Council. Last week, I visited Washington DC on the DD Council's behalf to advocate for DD needs on employment, housing, and overall funding of care. I have been a CARF surveyor for 12 years and see firsthand new initiatives for DD programming across the nation. I started this company because it was a struggle for me to find quality person-centered care for my children. Many people that I help advocate for face the same barriers; therefore, I created Secure Haven Care.
